Survival until discharge

My partner and I tried to visit our cardiac arrest patient from last week. The problem we had was a good one...she has already been discharged from the hospital. I wish I knew if she had all her mental capabilities restored. I'm wishing her the best.

Your FIRST code walked out ?!#$@ You are either real good, real lucky - or probably both. Nice work, PS - Go ahead & find her, stop by and say hello. The home follow up is something I have only done twice, but both visits kept me jazzed up for years!

No, just following protocols. Plus, it helped having a fire crew with us that had just recertified on their CPR earlier that day. Also, having two medics instead of just one was very nice. Made us move a lot faster than I think I would have alone.

Will I stop by and see her? I'm really not sure yet. I'm nervous about doing that. Maybe...
